My wife and I stayed here with our daughter, son-in-law and grandson. It was great. The layout was spacious and comfortable, and it was clean. The location was easy to get to by car. Although we drove down to the crowed beach (to people watch) there was a very nice less crowded beach a block away. Great for the morning walk with coffee. Maryhelen, the owner, was very nice and a pleasure to work with. Can’t go wrong.

This house was just what we were looking for. The proximity of this quaint house to the beach is wonderful, just a short 60 – 90 second walk and you are on the beautiful beach. The proximity to the beach was the primary reason we booked this property, the other huge factor was being able to bring a pet along with us. The house is located in a residential area and it is about a little bit more than a mile walk to the pier where all the restaurants are. The house is just as it is pictured on the vrbo site, so no surprises whatsoever. The house I would say is mid-century, the hardwood floors and other architectural features gave the house a warm feeling with charm/character which we really liked. The Wifi was solid and had no issues with it functioning. Everything we needed was there in the kitchen and having a dishwasher was great. We also used the grill one night and it worked very well, no issues with it. We really enjoyed the house everything being tidy and neat, it was plenty big enough as well. We used the beach chairs each day with no issues, we did not use the umbrellas as there was too much wind on the beach for those types of umbrellas. We did ride a few of the bikes but only for a little bit as we really wanted to spend all the time at the beach. The other bikes that were there needed some work in my estimation. It was not a big deal for us, but wanted to call it out in case that is important for other renters. It is well worth your time to make sure you go down to the beach for sunset every night it is so beautiful, also for a quick bite go to Pearly’s the food was very good. The rental process was fast and easy with great communication throughout from Maryhelen who was super nice. All in all was a great stay with no issues really. Without a doubt If we ever have the chance we would definitely come back and stay again, we truly enjoyed staying here! Thanks Maryhellen, we had a wonderful time staying at the Beachcomber.

In full disclosure I would say that the real rating would be a 4.5 but can’t get that granular on this site so picked a 5. Did not want to sell this great house short by selecting only a 4.
